Why no cameras?

Because a home is not a place to be watched. Invisible Guardian uses thermal and radar sensing to understand movement, presence and stillness — enough to notice a fall or a missed morning routine, without ever capturing an image or a sound.

How does the sensing actually work?

Small sensors read heat patterns and gentle radar reflections. The system learns the ordinary rhythm of a home over the first days, then notices when something is clearly out of pattern — a fall, a long unexpected stillness, a dangerous room temperature — and sends an alert.

Where does my data go?

Sensing and pattern analysis happen on the hub inside your home. Nothing is streamed to the cloud. When an alert needs to reach a family member, only that short notification leaves the house, over an encrypted connection. No thermal data, no audio and no video is ever stored off-site.

Who gets the alerts?

The people you choose — usually one or two family members or a carer. They receive a plain message on their phone. There is no monitoring room and no automatic call to the emergency services; the people who know the person decide what to do.

Do you install it?

Yes. Every system is fitted by our own team, who place the sensors for the specific home and walk the family through how it works. The hardware mounts magnetically, so it can be adjusted or moved later without tools.

Is it disruptive to fit?

No. There is no wiring to chase into walls and no building work. A typical home is set up in a single visit.

What happens in a power cut?

The hub has battery backup and keeps working. Your nominated contacts are told when mains power drops and when it returns.

Will pets set it off?

The system is tuned to the household during setup, including pets, so normal animal movement does not trigger alerts.

Every home is different, so we quote after a short consultation rather than listing a price. We will explain exactly what a system costs and what, if anything, is ongoing before you commit. Nothing is hidden and there is no pressure.

Each enclosure is made in our Rochester studio from reclaimed hardwood, printed and finished by hand, with Japanese-made sensing components inside. We can show you the build if you would like to see it.
